This week for my Literacy I have been doing the Authors purpose. We had to make a slide about the authors purpose we also had to write three short paragraphs about how to Entertain Inform and Pused with a buddies. Here is my slide.

Numeracy Week 9 Term 3

This week for Numeracy I ave been doing problem solving. We had to figure out heaps and heaps of Maths problems like adding up coins and heaps of other stuff like that. Here is some of my work.

This week for my 30BC I have been reading Billy Slater chip and chase. The illustrator was Billy Slater and the author was also Billy Slater. My favorite bit in the book was when he was not aloud to play league but then the coach convinced his dad so he could play again.

This week for my literacy we have been doing an Explanation Burger.so we had to write 3 interesting facts about wisdom teeth and then write a conclusion with the 3 interesting facts.

This week for my 30BC I have been reading looniverse meltdown madness. The Author was David Lubar and the illustrator was also David Lubar. My favorite part in the book was when heaps of pigs came into the house and started making a mess. I would read this book again.

This week for my numeracy we have been learning area and perimeter. We had to get budded up in groups of five and four and then we had to work out some area and perimeter questions here is some of my work.

This week we also went to St Johns. We learnt heaps about how to save someones life and doing CPR properly. It was really really interesting. here's what I learnt.

This week for my 30BC I have been reading the giraffe the pelly and me. The author was Roald Doald and the illustrator was Quentin Blake. My favorite part in the book was when the little boy came back the next day and found the door was different and then a giraffe pelican and a monkey came out of window and started singing. I would read this book again.

This week for my 30BC I have been reading Bad guy episode 1. The author was Aaron Blabey and the illustrator was also Aaron Blabey. My favorite part in the book is when when they tried to be good guys so they broke into a dog pound and they thought that they were rescuing all the dogs but they actually stole the dogs.
I would read this book again.

This week for topic we had to buddy up in groups of 3 and give five reasons of how to be an explorer and we had to go into a padlet called how to be an explorer and say what how to be an explorer with out using the internet.

This week for my Literacy we had to chose a house hold item and write about it I chose a toaster so we had to write the use and the a toaster Description. I found it kind of hard. here is my toaster Description.

This week for my numeracy Miss Panther introduced a new website called Grey Main Maths hub it was really really cool. We also had to answer some Fraction questions that the teacher gave us. I found it hard.

This week for my 30BC I have been reading horrible histories groovy Greeks the author was Terry Deary and it was illustrated by Martin Brown. I like this book because it tells you heaps and heaps of interesting facts about Greek/Greece. I would read this book again and it is my favorite book so far.
